Business Tool: Real-Time Analytical Dashboard for Logistics Center

This 12,000 m² logistics center operated with three different software programs that didn't talk to each other: one for purchases, one for physical stocks, and another to track carriers.

In practice, supervisors spent their day juggling three screens, copy-pasting order numbers from one tool to another to see if a truck had what it needed at the dock. This manual verification, slow and error-prone, had direct consequences: blocked trucks, preparers going in circles, shipping errors, and financial penalties with end customers.

But there was a strong constraint: touching existing software was out of the question due to cost and risk. A solution had to be found without dismantling anything.

Our approach was to build a "control tower" that plugs in over existing tools without replacing them, like a panoramic window placed over three separate windows.

One screen to see everything

We developed a centralized dashboard that automatically collects information from the three existing systems in the background and presents it in a unified, readable way. No more switching between tools: at a glance, the supervisor knows what's in stock, the status of each shipment, and if anything is wrong in the chain.

Immediate alerts without human action

A major goal was reactivity. If an item is missing at the dock when loading a truck, the dashboard lights up in red instantly on the warehouse wall screens and team leaders' tablets without anyone needing to report anything. No more waiting, no more phone calls: the information arrives on its own, at the right place, at the right moment.

An interface designed for the field

The tool was designed to be used with gloves in fluorescent-lit warehouse aisles. Large buttons, quick reading of key indicators, dark mode to reduce eye strain: every interface detail was validated directly with field teams, not from behind a desk.
