5-day intensive training on VMware vSphere. You learn to design, deploy and operate a complete vSphere cluster: ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, vMotion and high availability. Each learner gets a personal lab with several ESXi hosts and a dedicated vCenter.

What you'll learn

  • Install and configure ESXi on bare-metal or VMs
  • Deploy and administer vCenter Server Appliance (VCSA)
  • Build vSphere clusters, configure HA, DRS and Fault Tolerance
  • Set up vSAN for distributed storage
  • Perform live migrations with vMotion and Storage vMotion
  • Diagnose and resolve common production incidents

Prerequisites

  • Comfortable with a server OS (Linux or Windows Server)
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLAN, routing)
  • Some prior system administration experience is recommended
